The Titans' big splash on the defensive side of the ball this offseason was the addition of Sneed after he and the Chiefs couldn't agree on a long-term deal. Across his first four seasons in the league, Sneed has established himself as one of the best corners in the league by picking off multiple passes in each campaign. He's also broken up 25 passes combined across the last two years. Tennessee struggled to get consistent production out of its secondary across the last few seasons, but Sneed will anchor a new-look unit for the foreseeable future. Read Past Outlooks
Likely out at Houston
Coach Brian Callahan said Monday that Sneed (quadriceps) is unlikely to play in Week 12 at Houston, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Callahan's tone Monday was not entirely pessimistic, as he also said Sneed was getting closer to returning to action from the quad issue he picked up in Week 6 versus the Colts. If he does end up sitting out his sixth consecutive game in Week 12, Sneed's next chance to suit up would come in Week 13 on Sunday, Dec. 1 at Washington.

Sneed has emerged as one of the best Chiefs' draft picks from the 2020 class, posting a career-best 108 tackles (75 solo) along with 3.5 sacks, a trio of picks, and three forced fumbles in 2022. He enters the final year of his rookie deal set for a healthy payday next offseason. For now, he's entrenched atop the cornerback depth chart in Kansas City and should continue to be among the better IDP options among defensive backs once again in 2023.
