Progress may not be linear for everyone, but Elliss' role and production have consistently increased each year that he's been in the league. He took a step forward to lead Atlanta's linebacker corps in 2024, with Troy Andersen limited significantly by a knee injury and Troy Reeder taking a step back in his role. Elliss will now lead a new-look front seven in Atlanta, working alongside Divine Deablo in the middle of the linebacker corps. After a breakout 2022 with the Saints, Elliss signed a three-year deal with the division-rival Falcons last offseason and posted a career-high 122 tackles. Over the last two seasons, he's totaled 200 tackles, including 11.0 sacks, five pass defenses and two forced fumbles. Even with Troy Andersen back after a lost 2023 season, Elliss' role shouldn't change drastically, making him a strong IDP option again. The only concern for Elliss this summer is his participation during training camp, as he left the 2023 regular-season finale due to an undisclosed knee injury, but he's expected to be full go.
