Rest-of-Season Projections
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Progress may not be linear for everyone, but Elliss' role and production have consistently increased each year that he's been in the league. He took a step forward to lead Atlanta's linebacker corps in 2024, with Troy Andersen limited significantly by a knee injury and Troy Reeder taking a step back in his role. Elliss will now lead a new-look front seven in Atlanta, working alongside Divine Deablo in the middle of the linebacker corps. In addition to being a strong run-stuffer, Elliss' production is unique relative to most middle linebackers for his ability to get after the quarterback, as he has double-digit quarterback hits in two of his last three seasons. ANALYSIS
The 30-year-old linebacker has now posted six or more stops in eight of the Falcons' last nine games. Elliss has appeared in all 14 of Atlanta's contests this season, recording a team-leading 94 total tackles, including 3.5 sacks, four passes defensed, with one interception, and one forced fumble. He's likely to remain one of the Falcons' top tacklers in the Week 16 matchup against the Cardinals.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2024
2023
After a breakout 2022 with the Saints, Elliss signed a three-year deal with the division-rival Falcons last offseason and posted a career-high 122 tackles. Over the last two seasons, he's totaled 200 tackles, including 11.0 sacks, five pass defenses and two forced fumbles. Even with Troy Andersen back after a lost 2023 season, Elliss' role shouldn't change drastically, making him a strong IDP option again. The only concern for Elliss this summer is his participation during training camp, as he left the 2023 regular-season finale due to an undisclosed knee injury, but he's expected to be full go.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Candidate for double-digit sacks
Elliss could record digit sacks in 2025, Josh Kendall of The Athletic suggests.
ANALYSIS
The Falcons prioritized improving their pass rush this offseason, signing Leonard Floyd before drafting both Jalon Walker and James Pearce in the first round. That trio has rightfully been the primary talking point around Atlanta's defense this offseason, but opposing offensive lines will also prioritize them in blocking schemes. That could open up room for Elliss, who has 16.0 combined sacks across the last three seasons despite often lining up as a traditional inside linebacker.
