2026 Projections
2026 Fantasy Outlook
The Seahawks have strong depth at wide receiver, leaving Henderson with a difficult path to playing time as a rookie sixth-round pick. It'll be familiar territory, after he spent the first three years of his college career buried on Alabama's depth chart, unable to earn snaps despite being a top-50 recruit. Henderson finally transferred in 2025 and promptly broke out for 45-766-5 at Kansas, with 300 more receiving yards than his closest teammate. At 6-foot-1, 185, he lacks the size and physicality to be a volume receiver in the NFL, so Seattle will likely look to develop Henderson (4.44 40) as a field stretcher behind Rashid Shaheed and Tory Horton. One might even call Henderson a poor man's version of Horton, a 2025 fifth-round pick who played well before injuries wiped out the second half of his rookie campaign. Read Past Outlooks
Selected by Seahawks
The Seahawks selected Henderson in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 199th overall.
ANALYSIS
Henderson (6-foot-1, 185 pounds) might be a better bet to make a roster than most other sixth-round rookie receiver selections, because Henderson is fully expected to stand out as a special-teams gunner. Henderson was a known special-teams presence even while he was a backup wideout at Alabama, but Henderson managed to log an encouraging season of wideout production in his one year at Kansas. The selection of Henderson might be a bad sign for 2025 seventh-round pick Ricky White, who was also largely selected for his special-teams ability.
