2025 Fantasy Outlook
Granderson has blossomed since becoming a full-time starter in New Orleans. The 28-year-old has been the team's most productive edge rusher over the last two years, totaling 14.0 sacks among his 139 tackles while starting all 34 regular-season games over this span. The 6-foot-5, 261-pounder figures to transition well as the team goes from a 4-3 to a 3-4 scheme under new defensive coordinator Brandon Staley. Granderson's role and production merit solid IDP utility. Read Past Outlooks
Tallies six sacks in 2025
Granderson accumulated 57 tackles (22 solo), including six sacks, and four passes defended across 17 regular-season games in 2025.
ANALYSIS
Granderson continued his consistent production this season, but his tackle number took a hit as he played slightly fewer snaps than he did over the previous two seasons. In 51 games over the last three regular seasons, the 29-year-old has tallied 20 sacks, and he's averaged 65.3 tackles per year. Granderson has two seasons remaining on his four-year, $52 million contract with the Saints.

Granderson served as a rotational lineman for the first four years of his career, having started only seven combined games in that span. However, after the Saints parted ways with Marcus Davenport heading into the 2023 campaign, Granderson immediately did a better job of providing the team with the production they hoped to get from Davenport. He was disruptive to the opposing offense as both a pass rusher (20 QB hits; 8.5 sacks) and run stopper (14 tackles for loss) and quickly established himself as one of the better edge players in the league. Perhaps he loses a few snaps in 2024 relative to last season due to the Saints' offseason addition of Chase Young, but Granderson has established himself as a key part of the team's defense and is locked into a long-term deal to stay in New Orleans.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Might be on move
Granderson is a player the Saints might consider trading, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The team's most valuable trade chip, running back Alvin Kamara, has informed the front office he wants to stay in New Orleans, but the Saints have other assets they might consider dealing, including Granderson. The 28-year-old edge rusher is under contract through 2027 and remains very productive, recording 4.5 sacks in six games this season, a pace which might see him top the career-high 8.5 sacks he amassed in 2023.
