SKT vs. Rox
SK Telecom T1 continued its recent domination over the ROX Tigers in LoL Champions Korea with a resounding series of victories on Tuesday to complete a 2-0 sweep.
In Game 1, SKT's Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok used his Cassiopeia to pick up the first blood on Son "Mickey" Young-min's Corki. This was followed by Bae "Bang" Jun-sik's use of Varus' full kit to secure a double kill in the bottom lane that really broke the game open. SKT would continue to push every lane to the max, leaving ROX floundering on all fronts. When ROX attempted a desperate Baron, Han "Peanut" Wang-ho, using Kha'Zix, snuck in and stole it right from under their noses to completely slam the door shut on any comeback attempt. With no way back into the game, ROX was taken down.
Not content, SKT set out to make Game 2 an even quicker affair. Things got off to a rough start right off the bat when ROX attempted a gank on Peanut and Seong-Hoon "Huni" Heo, but it failed mightily and was capped off by a missed smite by Yun "SeongHwan" Seong-hwan's Elise. That allowed Huni to get the blue buff for his Maokai in the top lane. From then on, it was all downhill for ROX.
It would lose teamfight after teamfight as SKT waltzed all over the map picking up objectives and kills at will. While SKT was in the driver's seat for the entire game, it completely kicked ROX out the car with an ill-advised teamfight initiation from ROX that turned into an ace for SKT. Faker completely dominated the series with a 14/3/5 KDA (kills/deaths/assists), while showing off his versatility by using Cassiopeia and Katarina in the two games.

Samsung vs. MVP
The second match of the day in LoL Champions Korea saw Samsung Galaxy squaring off against MVP in a fairly lopsided series that went in Samsung's favor.
Slow and steady was the theme of this first game of the series, as Samsung would methodically push its weight around the map in what amounted to a 43-minute win. Despite the game lasting so long, MVP never really had a shot at victory. Samsung was ahead in gold for most of the game, and finally started to inch its way closer to victory after securing the first Baron. Lee "Crown" Min-ho's Orianna in the mid lane was an absolute terror, compiling a 7/1/4 KDA (kill/deaths/assists).
In contrast to its Game 1 performance, Samsung raced out ahead in Game 2 to claim victory in just under 30 minutes. Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk got his Jhin going early with a first blood on Oh "MaHa"' Hyun-sik's Caitlyn before Samsung took a huge 3-for-0 teamfight to gain a 4,500 gold lead. From then on, it was all downhill for MVP, as there was nothing that it could do to combat the immense pressure that Samsung was outputting. Ruler, in particular, made it extremely hard to maneuver with his pinpoint accuracy on Jhin's Curtain Call ultimate ability. He used these skills to pick up an impressive 10/1/4 KDA. Crown tag-teamed with Ruler's Curtain Call by using the Weaver's Wall ultimate of his Taliyah to zone off MVP and make Ruler's Curtain Calls even more deadly. With these two playing at such a high level, Samsung is looking very dangerous early on in the Spring Split.

KT Rolster vs. Longzhu
The second day of competition in Week 2 of the League of Legends Champions Korea showcased KT Rolster taking on Longzhu Gaming. In what ended up being a quick series, KT earned the win despite starting the series off slowly Wednesday.
Longzhu jumped ahead in Game 1, picking up three kills within the first seven minutes. Top laner Koo "Expession" Bon-taek's Kennon and jungler Lee "Crash" Dong-woo's Kha'Zix worked together like a well-oiled machine controlling the top lane, forcing KT's Song "Smeb" Kyung-ho's Nautilus into four of the first five deaths for his team after 13 minutes.
Although Longzhu would enjoy a lead for most of the early game, its play started to get careless as the action progressed. Earning a bit of breathing room, KT would eventually take a lead in kills at 30 minutes before winning a 4-for-1 teamfight that netted it a Baron and a gold lead they would never relinquish. KT used the Baron to push into Longzhu's base and eventually pick up the win after 37 minutes.
Whereas Game 1 saw KT get pushed around early before coming back, KT wasted no time exerting its dominance in Game 2. AD carry Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu got KT on the board with a first blood on Varus just under seven minutes in before jungler Go "Score" Dong-bin added in two more kills with his Kha'Zix a few minutes later.
It would take Longzhu 15 minutes before it got its first kill, and by that point KT already had amassed a 4,000 gold lead. KT actually ballooned the gold lead to almost 9,000 even before it secured the first Baron, demonstrating just how one-sided this game truly was. On the heels of its second Baron kill, KT would secure the series win in 36 minutes.

bbq Olivers vs. Jin Air Green Wings
Bbq Olivers took the stage Wednesday against the Jin Air Green Wings on the second day of Week 2 action in League of Legends Champions Korea. Bbq used strong, objective-focused play to take home the sweep.
Game 1 wound up being an extremely lopsided affair. JAGW started off nicely with jungler Um "Umti" Sung-hyeon using his Lee Sin to get first blood on Choi "Bless" Hyeon-woong's Kha'Zix. From then on, it was all bbq. After top laner Kim "Crazy" Jae-hee's Maokai and mid laner Kang "Tempt" Myung-gu's Cassiopeia secured the first tower, bbq won a 3-for-0 teamfight that netted it the first of two Barons. Bbq used those Barons to secure the 37-minute trouncing that saw it end with a 14-2 kill lead.
While the kill totals in Game 2 stayed fairly even until the final moments, the gold differential swung decidedly in bbq's favor early on. Umti earned first blood once again for JAGW, this time using his Kha'Zix to kill bbq support Eun "Totoro" Jong-Seop's Zyra. He continued his aggressive play, also taking down both players in bbq's bottom lane 13 minutes in. Even with these kills, bbq had already started taking down towers, which gave it the gold lead despite the kill deficit.
Once bbq found its groove, it slowly trudged its way to a win. Starting with punishing an overextension by JAG's mid laner Lee "Kuzan" Seong-hyuk, bbq quickly turned the ensuing teamfight into a 3-for-0 advantage, parlaying it into a tower kill in the bottom lane. JAG would try and recover, securing Baron at 33 minutes, but all it would do was delay the inevitable. Bbq continued to take objectives and used an ace in the final moments to push for the decisive, 37-minute victory.
