AlphaDraft LoL: Thursday Cheat Sheet
Week Two of the LCS is upon us. Most of today's matchups seem pretty clear on paper with favorites, G2, Fnatic, Vitality, and H2K. The day also features an interesting tilt between Schalke 04 and Splyce. Splyce are my favorite underdog of the day, I'm not sure they can win the series, but I think they can possible split with S04. It's hard to find value today so you'll need to take a shot somewhere. H2K are in the best matchup of the day, but after splitting their first two series of the season how confident are you that they'll dominate GIANTS! It seems like a guarantee on paper, but that's why they play the games.
Top Lane: Odoamne (H2K vs. GIA, $7,900):
Odoamne and H2K are in an excellent position to be the highest scoring team of the day. I like Odoamne especially because he is always a solid player and you know what you're going to get from him in most situations. I'm also using Cabochard in my flex role in a good matchup vs. Origen.
Jungle: Jankos (H2K vs. GIA, $7,800)
I'm not overly concerned about H2K splitting their first two series of the season. They should sweep GIANTS!, but even if they split again I think the fantasy points should be there. Jankos aggressive style works well for us in fantasy and he should be in the thick of the action once again today.
Middle Lane: Febiven (FNC vs. UoL, $8,500):
Febiven is expensive, but value is a little easier to come by on Alphadraft. I love the matchup as he's head and shoulders above Exileh as a player and Fnatic should 2-0 UoL today.
ADC: MrRalleZ (S04 vs. SPY, $7,600)
RalleZ is priced pretty low, but that makes him a nice value play with upside. He's proven he can carry games in the past and although I'm not convinced S04 will sweep this series, I like his upside over Kobbe.
Support: Sprattel (S04 vs. SPY, $6,900)
Pairing the S04 bot lane is a good way to save some money as they're both quite cheap coming into the day. Sprattel is limited in his champion pool, but with bans not focusing on support champions he should be able to grab something he's comfortable on. If he gets his hands on Alistar he will greatly outproduce his small salary.
Team: Vitality vs. Origen ($3,700)
Origen are a mess right now and playing xPeke as their emergency AD Carry isn't going to help anything. I'd expect a clean sweep over Origen today. Fnatic are also a good shout, priced the same as Vitality if you want to use them.
