GEN vs. AF
Afreeca has failed to beat any of the top teams in the LCK, and this is a trend that's likely to continue Wednesday. Ruler has been playing on a different level right now and GenG is not scared to team fight. Gen.G have the better early game rating, while Afreeca have the better mid-game one, but the problem is that Gen.G don't make many errors like Afreeca. GenG are a solid macro-oriented team, ranking second in turrets and first in Dragon control at 67 percent. This is going to be a bloody game, and I like Gen.G to be one of the top scoring teams on the slate.
Prediction: Gen.G 2-1
- Gen.G Players to Target: Everyone
OMG vs. ES
Both of these teams have burned me so hard, but I am going back to OMG. Some people say I have a love for OMG, but this team is always going to contend for playoffs and even though they switch their play-styles up here and there, they have shown the ability to make fewer mistakes in the late game. OMG have some of the better mid-to-late game pro-activity in the league, and that is what eStar struggle with. eStar's metrics are really good, but they have

OMG have some of the better mid-to-late game pro-activity in the league, and that is what eStar struggle with. eStar's metrics are really good, but they have forced many uncommon errors that causes them the game. Icon has been outstanding once again this year, and the top side of eStar have been struggling to get their bottom lane ahead. With OMG playing towards top side more, this matchup is going to be tough for eStar, and I can see this matchup being another shootout.
Prediction: OMG 2-1
- OMG Players to Target: Everyone
VG vs. JDG
Both of these teams are on heaters, and while VG have shown some strength in their late game team fights, that plays into JDG's play-style. JDG are playing at an elite level even though their metrics say they are not; their players are returning to form, and this is a good sign to see. VG's numbers are not that bad compared to how they played, and they support a better first blood than JDG, though JDG are good at accelerating in the mid game. VG also have to worry about which iBoy is showing up because so far he's been overly aggressive in team fights, which has cost them some games. JDG are good enough to punish a hard mistake like that, and this is a solid cash game spot even in a slow pace game.
Prediction: JDG 2-0
JDG Players to Target: Loken ($8,000), Kanavi ($7,400), LvMao ($5,600)
DWG vs. DYN
T1 haven't impressed me all split and DYN were able to beat T1 through the early game and team fighting. DYN are a solid team, though they are one directional with average stats. This is the definition of a middle-of-the-table team that should beat bad teams and take games off good one. However, this spot is going to be tough for DYN, as Damwon is the best early game team (75.8 rating) and they take this huge advantage with a gold lead of 2,879 after 15 minutes and snowball other teams. Damwon has an average game time of 29.5 minutes, which is the fastest in the LCK, and this is a matchup that is going to challenge DYN's style. I think this is another game that can shoot out because DYN are good at mitigating some damages, and if they can push Damwon a little futher into the mid game then this could be the bloodiest game on the slate.
Prediction: Damwon 2-0
Damwon Players to Target: Everyone
