V5 vs FPX
LPL playoffs are upon us, meaning these slates will be a best-of-5 instead of the normal best-of-3 like the regular season. FunPlus Phoenix come into this series as the favorites, but the regular season stats and recent form tell a different story. Victory 5 have the advantage in multiple gold stats this season over FPX such as gold per minute, gold difference per minute and gold difference at 15 minutes which paints the story of V5 being the better early game team in this series. V5 also have a better dragon percentage with 56 compared to the 54 percent of FPX. With the price on V5 being so low on this slate, I also see them being in most of the lineups regardless of what contest you have entered. SamD and Mole both share the first spot in kills with 130 while the jungler Weiwei isn't far behind with 124 kills this split. I foresee this being a close series but V5 have been the more consistent team and in a best-of-5 situation, that can be the edge V5 needs to beat FPX.
Prediction to Win: V5 3-1
V5 Players to Target: Weiwei ($6,200), Mole ($6,800), SamD ($7,000)
LGD vs. WE
Our second series is a matchup where both teams excel in different areas. LGD

LGD vs. WE
Our second series is a matchup where both teams excel in different areas. LGD does best when it gets an early lead, as they are very good at snowballing into victories. WE, on the other hand, is a fine teamfighting team that just drafts good compositions and can overcome the early game deficit. This series is pretty close in terms of stats this split where there isn't much difference in gold, dragon control or first blood and first turret. I do value late-game teamfighting because a good teamfight can turn into lots of objectives being taken offf the Rift. Jiumeng leads the team in kills with 195 this split while Teacherma in the mid lane and beishang in the jungle are only separated by one kill. Everyone on the team has a kill participation above 70 percent except for the top lane. This feels like a series where the team with the early momentum will run away with the overall victory and I see WE's teamfighting able to prevail over the early game of LGD.
Prediction to Win: WE 3-1
WE Players to Target: Beishang ($6,600) Teacherma ($7,200), Jiumeng (7,400)
