DraftKings LoL: Sunday LCS Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings League of Legends series.

GAMES (EDT)

  • 4:00 p.m: Cloud9 vs. 100 Thieves
  • 4:50 p.m: Dignitas vs. Team Solomid
  • 5:40 p.m: Team Liquid vs. Golden Guardians
  • 6:30 p.m: CounterLogic Gaming vs. Immortals

C9 vs. 100T

C9 are going to be very chalky, and for good reason, as they are one of the best teams in North America. This is a very good DFS spot, as C9 average 16.5 kills per win while 100T average 17.0 death per loss. C9 are a powerhouse team backed by great coaching, team work and drafts. 100T lost really poorly to EG after taking every objective, and the problem is they either try to avoid fights or they stay too long and don't engage. C9 are a decisive team that will fight you when they get the chance, and that's the difference between a good team and a bad team.

Prediction: C9 Win

C9 Players to Target: Everyone

DIG vs. TSM

TSM had a hard match against a TL team that I was high on going into the split. The jungle and ADC differences were expected, as TSM had no answer to Broxah and Co. DIG are playing a slower tempo, and this is a decent look for a team that was all over the place last year. Their game against GG was sloppy, as they were getting caught out, and Akaadian playing trundle in that matchup was not ideal. Dignitas has a lot of kinks to work out, and TSM should be able to punish Dignitas mistakes.

Prediction: TSM

TSM Players to Target: Doublelift ($8,000), Bjergsen ($7,800)

TL vs. GG

TL and GG both won their games convincingly and looked really good in terms of teamwork, drafts and map control. After Golden Guardians played, this league is highly dependent on who has the better jungler. Both Closer and Broxah are top-four in the league, but I still have to give the edge to Broxah. TL have lanes that are hard to lose between Jensen, impact and coreJJ in the bot lane, and Broxah has so many options to roam and effect almost any lanes he wants. I don't see Golden Guardians bot lane contending with TL.

Prediction: TL Win

TL Players to Target: Tactical ($7,400), Broxah ($7,000), CoreJJ ($5,400)

CLG vs. IMT

CLG got perfect gamed by EG, and it seems like they had no clear game plan. This is an extension of last year, where we are seeing a CLG team that were horrible in the early game and mid game, and they lose so badly that they don't make it to the late game. They threw themselves at EG one by one, and this is a clear indication that the players are not on the same page. Meanwhile, Immortals showed some teamwork and life during team fights against FlyQuest. On paper, CLG should win this matchup, but Immortals also look like they want to try and make this team work. Immortal can win this one just by their game plan and coaching that they showed Saturday.

Prediction: Immortals Win

IMT Players to Target: Altec ($7,600), Spica ($7,200)
