RW vs. LNG
LNG have had their problems this split, and unlike the other worst team in DMO, LNG really have no avenue in fighting back when they are down in the early game. They try to not fight and scale until they hit their item spike, but when that happens they already conceded every objective. RW are a solid early game team and Haro is playing some of the best League of Legends due to the current meta, and this should be a stomp. LNG, even playing slowly, have given up a lot of DFS points in 2-0 losses.
Prediction: RW 2-0
- RW Players to Target: Everyone
GEN vs. SP
This is another chalky game and one I can see Gen.G going underowned because of the other LPL matches. SP have been averaging 16 deaths per loss and GenG are averaging 17 kills per win. Gen.G should win this easily, and there is no other way to explain how bad SP are near the end of the season.
Prediction: Gen.G 2-0
- Gen.G Players to Target: Everyone
BLG vs. EDG
Two teams that have struggled to find their footing all season are now trending upwards. BLG have shown more consistency

BLG vs. EDG
Two teams that have struggled to find their footing all season are now trending upwards. BLG have shown more consistency in their play-style and game-plans in their recent matches and it has shown. They looked really clean against RW and their late-game macro and micro were what I wanted to see from them all split. BLG's early game rating is better than EDG, but their mid-to-late game is about the same because both teams are good at throwing games. The stability on both teams are the junglers and mid laners, who have shown the ability to carry and push lanes really well. Where EDG has the better bot lane, Kingen has improved his team fighting presence and should dominate his lane. This game will come down to who can be cleaner in the late game and drafts, where BLG have been more consistent than EDG.
Prediction: BLG 2-1
- BLG Players to Target: Everyone
IG vs. OMG
IG have a pretty easy schedule next two games and they need to sweep in order to have game differential against JDG to secure the second spot in playoffs. IG just smashed TES, and I can't see how they lose to OMG here. They're a team that's been getting better and better every series and is rounding into final form before playoffs and worlds. Historically, the deaths per loss and kills per win have been in the 20s. Even in a 2-0 for IG, OMG has put up a lot of kills, but with this iteration of IG and OMG it's hard to see a game-stack work. Additionally, a full IG stack might have limited upside because of how objective-oriented they have been playing, or they could go out and have a slug-fest again. Nevertheless, IG are winning 2-0 and this is an easy spot for them.
Prediction: IG 2-0
AF vs. DRX
There is a mental block with afreeca, where they stomp the mediocre and bad teams but can't beat the top ones. It comes down to their early game, macro, and mid-game lane assignments, where most of the good teams have the better map rotations. DRX got embarrassed so badly by DAMWON that I want to believe they bounce back here. DRX's drafts makes no sense because they need to stop giving Deft these mage carries because he is getting bullied in the laning phase and is irrelevant during team fights. Stats can back up how good DRX has been, but if their drafts are not correlating then they are at a disadvantage already. We have seen it plenty of times where drafts are the reason why teams lose, and if DRX want to win this series and have a better seeding then they will need this win over AF.
Prediction: DRX 2-1
- DRX Players to Target: Chovy ($7,400)
