MAD Lions vs. MiBR
MAD Lions will face off against MiBR in the finals of FLASHPOINT after dispatching of HAVU in the lower bracket. Both AcilioN and roeJ had big performances for MAD Lions, proving how important it is to be contrarian if you want to take down one of these GPPs.
MiBR came out on top the last time these two sides met, and it was FalleN who led all players in the server with 64 kills and a K/D differential of plus-21. I would gravitate towards kNgV over FalleN, but both he and fer are viable options. It is also worth noting that meyern has had some decent performances recently, and he could make for a solid lower-owned option.
acoR is still insanely undervalued on MAD Lions, though you can definitely make a case for fading him for ownership reasons. However, it is very likely that we end up on maps that favor AWPers and acoR in particular, such as Train and Mirage, so it really comes down to whether you think that he matches up well against FalleN and kNgV or not. Personally, I want to have exposure to all of the AWPers in this matchup, since both Nuke and Inferno are likely to get banned.
Bubzkji and sjuush are the best options alongside acoR, and it is sjuush that I like the most out of these two. When it comes to contrarian options on MAD Lions, I still
