AlphaDraft LoL: Thursday/Friday Cheat Sheet
AlphaDraft is using both Thursday and Friday's games for their first slate of Week Two. All three games a player participates in counts towards their respective fantasy points, so it's important to take teams we think will win and make it out of the group stage. For me that's going to be ROX Tigers and Counter Logic Gaming from Group A and Edward Gaming and ahq eSports from Group C.
Top Lane: Ziv (AHQ vs. H2K, INTZ, and EDG, $7,400)
Ziv has been pretty great so far this tournament and his fantasy scores aren't too far behind Smeb, yet the savings you get from Ziv allow you to pay up elsewhere. While I don't think AHQ will win every game this week, they'll probably take two-of-three and move onto the quarterfinals.
Jungle: Mountain (AHQ vs. H2K,INTZ, and EDG $7,500)
Mountain's synergy with Ziv has been a huge factor in AHQ's wins thus far and they should be able to make it out of Group C in second place. Again, the savings from using Mountain over Peanut or Clearlove allows us to pay up elsewhere.
Middle Lane: KurO (ROX vs. CLG, ANX, and G2 $8,400)
KurO has been dominant in ROX's wins, picking up over ten assists in both victories thus far. Despite losing to CLG, ROX are still a tournament favorite and it wouldn't be a surprise if they win all three games Thursday.
ADC: PraY (ROX vs. CLG, ANX, and G2 $8,300) and Deft (EDGvs. INTZ, H2K, and AHQ $8,200)
PraY has been the best ADC in the tournament thus far, destroying the competition in both of ROX's wins before hitting a speed bump against CLG. Like I said for KurO, ROX are still a tournament favorite and should be able to win at least two, if not all three games. Deft is in a similar position and although he hasn't truly carried a game yet, he should be in line to help EDG finish first in their group.
Support: Aphromoo (CLG vs. ROX, ANX, and G2 $7,400)
Aphromoo has been as steady as ever in this tournament and his leadership is a big reason behind CLG's cohesiveness as a team. I'd expect CLG to win two out of three games and Aphro will be in line for 10+ assists in both. Even in a loss I don't think he'd feed to the point where he hurts you.
Team: ANX vs. G2, ROX, and CLG ($2,700)
This is a punt to fit the players above into my lineup. I think the shine fades for ANX during Week Two, but they might be able to win at least one game. I think either way they can keep games close enough to pick up enough objectives to justify this cheap price.
