It's imperative that you draft two AD Carries to your roster when filling out your Fantasy LCS teams. AD Carries and mid laners are often the highest scoring members of their teams and it's important to grab two top options that you can use in each role. A few marksman let us down during the Spring Split, but I'd expect bouncebacks from some big name players that underperformed coming into the Summer Split.Tier 1 (in alphabetical order): Piglet, WildTurtle, Zven
Player | Team | Points Per Game* | Kills | Deaths | Assists |
Piglet | Team Liquid | 21.18 | 87 | 30 | 102 |
WildTurtle | Immortals | 24.26 | 104 | 31 | 114 |
Zven | G2 | 16.6 | 70 | 37 | 72 |

Zven is my top ranked ADC again coming into this split. Statistically, he let us down during the Spring Split, but the collapse of Origen was really unexpected. In reality, he and Mithy were the main reason Origen did not completely flounder. Surrounded now by an excellent team with like-minded ambition I see no reason why he can't reach similar numbers to last year's Summer Split.
Before last split I placed WildTurtle in my second tier of ADC's and predicted that he'd be the benefactor of "some good fantasy numbers". Now don't call me Nostradamus just yet, because I never would've pegged him to lead the LCS in kills. Immortals may take a step back, but I think WildTurtle should still be looked at as a top option in the marksman role.
Piglet really needs no introduction as he's a former World Champion and one of the most mechanically sound ADCs in the LCS. Team Liquid finished last split red hot and Piglet was a big reason why, finishing the split third in kills and assists. Team Liquid's aggressive style makes Piglet one of my top options at AD Carry coming into the new split.
Tier 2: Doublelift, Rekkles
Player | Team | Points Per Game | Kills | Deaths | Assists |
Doublelift | TSM | 18.13 | 83 | 47 | 77 |
Rekkles | Fnatic | 16.13 | 55 | 32 | 88 |
Call this the reliable veterans tier. Both players took a step back during the Spring Split but should be sought after as reliable targets early on in drafts. The top tier has more upside, but both Doublelift and Rekkles should end near the top of the AD Carry charts once again. With Yellowstar back in the Fnatic fold, look for Rekkles to really improve on his pedestrian kill total from the Spring Split.
Tier 3: Freeze, Sneaky, Steeelback, Stixxay
Player | Team | Points Per Game | Kills | Deaths | Assists |
Freeze | H2K | 16.26 | 49 | 30 | 66 |
Sneaky | Cloud 9 | 18.93 | 80 | 43 | 95 |
Steeelback | ROCCAT | 20.98 | 88 | 26 | 89 |
Stixxay | CLG | 16.78 | 64 | 30 | 84 |
There are a couple really high upside targets in this tier, namely Freeze and Steeelback, who may fly a bit under the radar in your drafts. Steeelback was excellent on UoL during the Spring Split, finishing second across both LCS regions in kills. He moves to ROCCAT in what on paper should be viewed as a lesser team. The fact remains however, that Steeelback can carry a game at any time making him a boom-or-bust type of player. Freeze was one of the better AD Carries last year on Coppenhagen Wolves, but struggled to really find his groove after moving to North America. A move back to Europe and a good H2K side boosts his value heading into the split.
Sneaky is a reliable option. He often isn't overwhelming, and doesn't consistently put up huge fantasy numbers, but is always a steady presence on what should be a strong C9 team. Stixxay made huge strides during the Spring Split and finished in dominating fashion as CLG won back-to-back LCS titles. His performance at MSI furthered the thought that he is an excellent AD Carry option, but the hype machine may lead to him being drafted higher than this ranking suggests.
Tier 4: FORG1VEN
Player | Team | Points Per Game | Kills | Deaths | Assists |
FORG1VEN | Origen | 18.75 | 66 | 23 | 100 |
FORG1VEN gets his own tier because he is a curious player. I ranked him in my third tier last year and while his overall numbers were solid, he is an infuriating player to own. He often prioritizes objective gameplay and farming rather than kills, which is fine in real life but provides little value in fantasy. He's moved from H2K to Origen, his fourth team in as many splits, and there may be an underlining reason as to why he can't stick with a team. I think people get worn out playing with him quickly. He's listed here because I probably won't draft him, hopefully having two players from the above tiers before he gets here, but I can't deny that he possesses more upside than the players in the next tier.
Tier 5: Keith, MrRallez, OHQ, Police, Veritas
Player | Team | Points Per Game | Kills | Deaths | Assists |
Keith | Echo Fox | 13.72 | 54 | 38 | 49 |
MrRallez | Schalke 04 | 14.45 | 68 | 27 | 46 |
OHQ | NRG | N/A* | N/A | N/A | N?A |
Police | Vitality | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A |
Veritas | UoL | N/A | N/A | N/A | N/A |
* N/A represents a new player to the LCS this split, most likely from a Challenger Series team.
In the best case scenario, you'll already have two AD Carries before you get to this tier, as these players are all underwhelming compared to those above. There are three new players to the LCS in OHQ, Police, and Veritas this split and each will play for teams that should be league average at best. That gets them the nod in my rankings over players we know have small upside, like Apollo, as being on better teams usually helps your KDA. Keith and Rallez offer small upside, but both are on teams that could surprise in the Summer Split.
