Elksnis announced Dec. 18 via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to South Carolina, joining the program as a transfer from Florida.
ANALYSIS
He arrives at Columbia with up to three years of eligibility after he qualified for a redshirt during one of his two seasons at Florida. The 6-foot-6, 234-pound tight end appeared in nine games for the Gators but wasn't a high-priority option in the passing game. He drew just over target during his time in Gainesville.
