Matavao logged over 50 receiving yards for the third game in a row. The 6-foot-6 senior tied wideout Titus Mokiao-Atimalala for the Bruins' second-most targets behind wideout Kwazi Gilmer. Matavao also caught one of quarterback Ethan Garbers' two passing touchdowns when he hauled in a two-yard score with nine seconds remaining. The tight end has been a significant piece of the passing offense over his past three games, tallying all but one of 18 targets for 224 yards and one touchdown. Matavao will look to remain involved during next week's rivalry matchup versus USC.
