Ramping up in practice
Diggs (knee) has reportedly "done the most he's done all season this past week" per head coach Lane Kiffin, Brad Logan of 247Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Diggs has yet to play this season, but it was reported on Nov. 9 that the tailback is targeting a post-bye week return. That would be this week against Florida if his timeline hasn't changed. Given the positive update from Kiffin, it would appear that Diggs has his best chance to play yet this season against the Gators.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Diggs enters a crowded backfield situation at LSU after transferring from Notre Dame. As a sophomore, Diggs rushed 165 times for 820 yards and four touchdowns. He averaged five yards per tote. Diggs received double-digit carries in nine of the 12 games he appeared in last season. He found the end zone in each of the last three games at Notre Dame. He crossed the 100-yard plateau in three of the final seven contests of the season. LSU returns Josh Williams, Noah Cain and Armoni Goodwin from a season ago, along with dual-threat quarterback Jayden Daniels. That being said, Diggs was recruited to Notre Dame by LSU’s current coach, Brian Kelly, and that prior allegiance along with the production of Diggs last season could quickly lead to Diggs ascending to the top of the depth chart at the running back position. For now, though, the Tigers backfield situation remains as murky as ever.
