Pace couldn't get much of anything going on the ground against Louisville. The same could be said for the rest of the Cavaliers' backfield, and their inability to establish a ground game was a big catalyst for the loss. Pace has been the top dog in this backfield, but Xavier Brown is sneaking up on him, as he logged eight carries in the loss. Brown didn't have any better luck on the ground, but Pace's stranglehold on this backfield could be weakening.
