Ross (foot) announced Thursday that he is entering the 2022 NFL Draft, Alexis Cubit of TheState.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Clemson's top wideout will forego his final season of eligibility to enter his name into the NFL draft. Ross missed the final stretch of the 2021 season after undergoing foot surgery back in November, and he sat out all of 2020 to address a congenital fusion in his spine. In 10 appearances this season, he logged 47 catches for 524 yards and three scores.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

Ross is arguably the biggest wildcard in the receiver landscape for fantasy. If healthy, Ross may be the most talented receiver in college football. His 112 catches for 1,865 yards and 17 touchdowns through his first two seasons underline that. But health is the issue; Ross missed all of 2020 recovering from surgery to address a congenital spinal fusion. He awaits full medical clearance as of press time, but the expectation is he will be back this fall. Drafting Ross comes down to your risk aversion, but it’s clear that the upside is enormous if he’s back to his old self.
