Hunter saw exactly three targets for the second week in a row, and he's now averaged 4.3 targets over the Huskies' four Big Ten games. The Cal transfer has routinely fell behind the team's top-two wideouts in Denzel Boston and Giles Jackson, as these two have each totaled exactly 38 targets over the last four weeks. Given Hunter's modest role in each of the first seven games of the season, he's not worth much consideration for fantasy owners, unless Boston or Jackson miss time at some point over the final five games of the year.

Hunter enjoyed a prolific sophomore year with the Bears, logging 60 receptions, 965 yarda and five touchdowns, Continued success will depend heavily on Cal’s eventual selection at quarterback, however. Hunter’s fortunes will increase if N.C. state transfer Ben Finley assumes the starting job, but expectations should be tempered if dual-threat TCU transfer Sam Jackson takes the helm. Finley is a traditional pocket passer who will steer Cal’s offense further into the passing game, which can only benefit Hunter. The QB battle should continue in fall camp.
