2024 Fantasy Outlook
Blue will likely play second fiddle to CJ Baxter in the Texas backfield in 2024, but there still should be plenty of carries to go around. Last year's starter, Jonathan Brooks, took his 1,139 yards and 10 touchdowns to the NFL, and while Baxter more than doubled Blue's touches, Blue generally looked more explosive than Baxer. Blue averaged a stout 6.1 yards per carry, while Baxter only managed 4.8 yards per tote. Baxter had five touchdowns compared to three for Blue, but as mentioned above, Baxter had more than double the amount of carries. All this being considered, there could effectively be a split between the top two running backs for Texas again this season, meaning that Blue should get over 100 carries and the chance to figure prominently in the Longhorn offense. It must be pointed out that Texas moves to the SEC this season, though, meaning a likely tougher slate of opposing defenses. Read Past Outlooks

ANALYSIS
Blue seemed to hurt his arm on a carry, and he hasn't returned to the gridiron after exiting. He's been limited to just four carries for 11 yards. Jerrick Gibson and Isaiah Bond are expected to see more carries behind Quintrevion Wisner in the backfield.
