Briggs is a 6-foot-2, 255-pound tight end who has transferred to Miami (OH) from Southeastern Louisiana. While enrolled there for four years, he logged five receptions for 29 yards and one touchdown. That kind of statistical output at the non-FBS level does not assure him future opportunities down the line, especially with Miami (OH) having other options available in Jack Coldiron (lower body) and Preston Daniel.
