Sterling Berkhalter News: Signs with Texas

Berkhalter has signed with Texas, Chris Hummer of 247Sports.com reports.

Now that Berkhalter is eligible for 2026, he can transfer to another college. Texas' football team provides an excellent quarterback, Arch Manning, along with a much more lucrative program than Wake Forest. During the 2025 Deacons' season, Berkhalter caught 54.5 percent of 55 targets for 416 yards (13.9 averaged per reception) and two touchdowns.
