Price was effective early on in 2025 before an ankle injury cut his season short. He was afforded a fifth season as a result and will take an opportunity to go to Oregon, who will be one of the favorites to win the 2026 national championship. Price will look to compete for a prominent role right away with Noah Wittington no longer around.
