LaNorris Sellers News: Slated to return to South Carolina

Sellers is nearing a deal to return to South Carolina for 2026, Pete Thamel of ESPN reports.

Even though Sellers' statistical production was lackluster in 2025 compared to 2024, he is one of college football's more proven quarterbacks, so his return to South Carolina is a big deal. Even with the Gamecocks' struggles, he still completed at least 175 passes for over 2,000 passing yards. Sellers will look to stay healthy and establish better consistency so that he can reach 25 touchdowns again, something he did in 2024 but was far from the mark in for 2025.
