Saunders was his typical solid self against Arizona, scoring 18 while finishing just one board shy of a double double as BYU's second half comeback attempt fell just short. It was an efficient performance for the senior wing, who connected on 7-for-11 (63.6-percent) from the field, the first time in four games he's made more than half his shots. BYU fell to 5-2 in conference play but with Saunders, AJ Dybantsa and Robert Wright, continues to boast one of the top trios in the Big 12. Saunders is averaging 19.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 steals across 33.4 minutes through seven conference games.
