Thedford plans to return to Memphis for the 2026-27 season, per Jason Munz of CommercialAppeal.com.

ANALYSIS
It's a positive sign for Penny Hardaway's squad heading into next season as Thedford appears set to return for his second season in Memphis. The 6-foot-4 sophomore appeared in 27 games for the Tigers this season, averaging 8.4 points and five rebounds per game after transferring in from Western Kentucky in the off-season. As he started 17 games for Memphis this past season, Thedford is expected to be a major contributor for the team next year.
