Toppin (knee) suffered a torn ACL in the Tuesday night loss to Arizona State, which will end his season, Jeff Borzello of ESPN.com reports.

Toppin was in the midst of an excellent game in the Red Raiders' loss to Arizona State, with 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and four blocks before he tore his ACL, ending the star forward's season. It's an absolutely brutal blow for a Texas Tech team with national title hopes, as Toppin averaged 21.8 points and 10.8 rebounds this season in what's easily been a career year. In his stead, expect more playing time for Luke Bamgboye and Josiah Moseley.
