Anderson closed Sunday's 90-65 loss to Alabama with seven points (2-11 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, three assists and four steals across 37 minutes.
ANALYSIS
Anderson was cleared for the NCAA Tournament despite suffering a groin injury in the Big 12 Tournament, but it ended up having no bearing on his minutes total over two games. He scored 18 in the opener, but had a tough shooting day in the Round of 32, getting held to single digits for just the third time this season. He was sound defensively, picking up eight steals over the Red Raiders' brief tournament run. It's now up to coach Grant McCasland to keep Anderson in Lubbock, as the talented point guard will undoubtedly have plenty of suitors heading into his third collegiate season.
