Anderson ended with 21 points (8-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, nine assists and one block over 38 minutes during Saturday's 100-72 victory over Kansas State.
ANALYSIS
Anderson topped 20 points for the first time in over a month while finishing one assist shy of his seventh double double. The sophomore point guard also added at least five boards for the third-consecutive game and connected on 50-percent of his six attempts from long range as he did his part in filling in for the absence of JT Toppin, who was lost for the season with a torn ACL. Anderson has spent much of this season building an All-American-level resume while serving as one of the top complimentary pieces in the nation. However, with March looming and Toppin on the shelf, Anderson has elevated into the alpha role for the Red Raiders.
