McMillian (upper body) came off the bench and played a big role in his return following a four-game absence, seeing 26 minutes of action while contributing 14 points. The senior guard, who was named to the All-Big 12 second team, had missed six of the previous 10 games while averaging just 8.3 points across 26.8 minutes during the four games he played during that stretch after recording 15.1 points across his first 26 contests. While his return provided a spark, it was not quite enough as Texas Tech gave up a late nine-point lead and fell one game short of their second ever trip to the Final Four.
