After missing SMU's last five games with an ankle injury, Edwards will be sufficiently healthy to log at least one more matchup for this season's Mustangs, preferably in the NCAA tournament. The only problem is that they are not a lock for March Madness just yet, especially after the aforementioned five matchups got them only one win. The 1-4 span and Edwards' versatility showcase just how important he is to SMU success. In 28 games and starts this season, Edwards averaged 12.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 2.3 steals.
