Prosper made one start and appeared in 40 games as a rookie, though he averaged a mere 3.0 points and 2.0 rebounds across 8.4 minutes per game. The Mavericks added Klay Thompson in the offseason to replace Derrick Jones, and while head coach Jason Kidd probably views Prosper as a depth option in the frontcourt, there might not be enough minutes available for him with Daniel Gafford, Dereck Lively and P.J. Washington soaking up most of the minutes. Even Naji Marshall and Maxi Kleber are ahead of Prosper in the depth chart, so he shouldn't be a factor in any fantasy format, even the deepest leagues and dynasty formats. Fantasy managers would be wise to consider other options for the latter stages of their drafts.

The Mavericks are increasing their efforts to trade Prosper before the start of the 2025-26 season, according to NBA reporter Marc Stein.

Even though the Exum deal was announced earlier in the summer, the Mavericks haven't been able to complete it due to budget issues.
