2025 Fantasy Outlook
Queta delivered solid efficiency and hustle in his 2024-25 role for Boston, averaging 5.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 0.7 blocks per game, while posting an impressive 65.0 percent mark from the field across 13.9 minutes per contest in 62 regular-season appearances. He also earned six starts, posting 9.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.3 blocks in 24.5 minutes. This offseason saw Boston shed significant interior pieces, including Kristaps Porzingis, Luke Kornet and potentially Al Horford, leaving the team with limited frontcourt depth. As a result, Queta is poised to assume a much larger role, potentially leading a skeletal frontcourt alongside the newly acquired Luka Garza and veteran Chris Boucher. In fact, Queta is the presumed favorite to start on Opening Night. Queta's solid per-minute production and improved opportunity make him a sleeper worth monitoring as a potential breakout role-player, all at a very reasonable cost in the later rounds of drafts. Foul trouble in Sunday's win
Queta posted 13 points (5-5 FG, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one block over 15 minutes during the Celtics' 123-91 win over the 76ers in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Both Queta and Nikola Vucevic found themselves in foul trouble in the first half, which prompted head coach Joe Mazulla to deploy Luka Garza more than anticipated. Queta still scored in double digits despite the lack of playing time, and if he can avoid foul trouble, he could have some productive stat lines in Round 1 while going up against Andre Drummond and Adem Bona, though Queta would have his hands full on the defensive end of the floor if Joel Embiid (appendectomy) is cleared to return.

Queta was used sparingly during his rookie campaign, suiting up in just 14 games. However, he did manage to block 0.6 shots in just 8.5 minutes, meaning if he can somehow get to 20 minutes per game, he could have some limited streaming appeal. He should not be on anyone's fantasy radar to open the season, but if things go south for the Kings, he may step into a more prominent role down the stretch.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Praised by head coach
Celtics' head coach Joe Mazzulla endorsed Queta to win the Most Improved Player of the Year award earlier this week, according to Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe.
ANALYSIS
"He deserves it," said Mazzulla, who was very vocal to explain his support. "To me, again, obviously as a player, but more what it means to do it for the Celtics, I think, goes a long way. And where he's been on his journey in the NBA, but also his journey with us in our organization, he should seriously be considered for that because of where he was, and where he is now, and we wouldn't be in that position without him." Queta took over as the Celtics' starting center this season and has been impressive, averaging career highs of 10.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.
