2025 Fantasy Outlook
Green carved out a defensive-minded rotational role in 2024-25, averaging 5.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.5 blocks per game, while shooting 42.9 percent from the field and 32.6 percent from beyond the arc across 18.5 minutes per night. After signing with New Orleans, he was bought out midseason and landed in Cleveland, where he remained a depth piece with limited touches and fewer minutes. Over the summer, Green agreed to a one-year deal with the Pistons, where his two-way energy and defensive versatility align well with the team's identity. In Detroit's rotation, he profiles as a hustle-driven wing capable of contributing across various peripheral categories, such as steals, blocks, and transitional scoring. However, minutes certainly won't be easy to come by. Although Green can be used at many different spots on the floor, the Pistons added Caris LeVert and Duncan Robinson to an already-deep wing rotation, making it unlikely that Green sees enough minutes to carve out any real fantasy value. Left out of rotation in Game 5
Green (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Wednesday in the Pistons' 117-113 overtime loss to the Cavaliers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
ANALYSIS
After playing in all 82 games during the regular season as well as the Pistons' first 11 games of the playoffs, Green failed to see the court for the first time in the 2025-26 campaign during Game 5. Green's prospects for rejoining the Detroit rotation likely won't get any better moving forward, as the Pistons were without starting wing Duncan Robinson (back) for Game 5 but could get him back for Friday's Game 6.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Coming off a surprisingly strong rookie season, Green looks set for a regression given the Bulls' roster construction and seemingly healthy player pool. Thanks to injuries, Green carved out a consistent role for himself during 2021-22, logging almost 24 minutes per night. He averaged 7.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.0 steals, shooting 54 percent from the floor and 83 percent from the line. While a season such as that could usually result in an increased role, the addition of Goran Dragic needs to be factored in, as does the health of both Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso. All three players are likely to be ahead of Green in the rotation, so while he has a proven track record, the sophomore could very well find himself struggling to play more than 15 minutes per night. As of where things stand, he is not a name worth considering across the bulk of fantasy leagues.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Ideal fit for Detroit?
Green is believed to be an ideal fit for the Pistons' scheme, according to Keith Langlois of Pistons.com.
ANALYSIS
The Pistons signed Green to a one-year, veteran's minimum contract, and he should make a significant impact after establishing a reputation as a hard-nosed defender with versatility in his previous years in the NBA. He'll compete for minutes at the wing positions and should make a sizable contribution on the defensive end due to his above-average ability as a rebounder and shot-blocker.
