Latest Fantasy Rumors
Expected to earn promotion
Barlow is expected to be promoted to a standard contract in the near future, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
ANALYSIS
Barlow is playing on a two-way contract but has exceeded expectations, averaging 8.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists and a combined 1.6 steals-plus-blocks across 24.1 minutes per game while starting in all but three of his 32 regular-season contests. Since he has a limit of 50 regular-season appearances as a two-way player, and given that he's been included in the starting lineup on a steady basis, look for the 76ers to sign him to a standard contract sooner rather than later. They'll aim to get that done before Barlow reaches his 50-game limit, something that should happen at some point in February if he stays healthy.
