Trae Young Injury: Expected to sign three-year deal
Young (quadriceps) is expected to sign a three-year deal with the Wizards in free agency, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.
Young plans to decline his $48 million player option for the 2026-27 season, and while he's expected to meet with other teams, the Wizards are the clear favorites. Windhorst adds that the Wizards are preparing to offer him a very large contract, and it sounds like there's mutual interest in getting something done quickly.
