Sharife Cooper News: Back in action in G League

Cooper (calf) tallied six points (3-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt), six assists and three rebounds across 21 minutes in Friday's 111-77 win over the Maine Celtics.

The two-way player first surfaced on the Wizards' injury report in late November after he sustained a right calf strain, but after about two weeks out of action, he shook off the injury and returned to the court in the G League. Prior to Friday's appearance, Cooper suited up for the Go-Go in Wednesday's 112-101 loss to Maine, finishing with 16 points (7-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven assists, three rebounds, one steal and one block in 22 minutes.
