Devin Vassell Injury: Expects to return Sunday
Vassell (adductor) said after Saturday's practice that he expects to be available for Sunday's game against the Pelicans, NBA reporter Matthew Tynan reports.
Vassell has been sidelined for the Spurs' last 13 games due to a left adductor strain, though he looks like he's made enough progress to make his return to action Sunday. If Vassell is indeed given the green light to play, the Spurs would have fewer minutes available for players such as Julian Champagnie, Keldon Johnson and Carter Bryant.
