Rest-of-Season Projections
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Feltner made half as many starts (10) in 2023 compared to the prior season, but his 5.82 ERA looked much the same. The 27-year-old has an 18.9 percent strikeout rate and 13.9 percent walk rate, but a 0.4 HR/9 helped lead to an optimistic 4.17 FIP. He naturally pitched better away from Coors Field (8.40 home ERA vs. 4.45 road ERA), but the limited sample size makes it difficult to draw any major conclusions. Feltner's 6.06 ERA through 32 big-league outings doesn't provide much for fantasy managers to get excited about, and he's hardly guaranteed a rotation spot to open 2024. Read Past Outlooks
Scoreless outing in finale
Feltner allowed two hits and two walks while striking out three over six scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Feltner received just one run of support, and the Rockies' bullpen couldn't hold the lead he passed along. He posted four quality starts in September and came just one out shy in his other outing on the month, ending the year on a positive note after he battled injuries in August. Feltner ends 2024 with a 4.49 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 138:52 K:BB over 162.1 innings across 30 starts, though he also had a poor 3-10 record in what was still his best major-league campaign to date.

Sunday's DraftKings MLB schedule promises a final opportunity to stack some Dodgers at Coors Field this season.
Tuesday's top MLB DFS picks on FanDuel include Shohei Ohtani, who's hard to fade despite a sky-high salary against the Padres.
Tarik Skubal leads the final pitcher rankings of the season, but like many starters in the final week, his second start is up in the air.
Luis Gil has a great matchup versus the Mariners and is modestly priced, making him a top pitching option for Tuesday DraftKings MLB DFS contests.
2023 Fantasy Outlook
Feltner has held up pretty well in the launching pads of the Pacific Coast League, posting a 3.83 ERA and 60:18 K:BB over 51.2 innings covering 11 starts there last season. That can often be a sign that a pitcher is ready for the challenge of the big leagues, but so far things haven't translated with Feltner holding a 6.16 ERA over 22 appearances (21 starts). The 26-year-old has a solid repertoire with two mid-90s fastballs (he started using his sinker more as the season went along) and a nice slider. Outside of German Marquez, he's the Rockies pitcher with arguably the most upside. That said, Feltner might be on the outside looking in for a rotation spot in large part because he has options, and the built-in disadvantage of Coors Field might be too much to overcome.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Set to start Tuesday
Feltner will start Tuesday against the Marlins, according to Thomas Harding of MLB.com.
ANALYSIS
Feltner will stay in the rotation following the move of Austin Gomber to the bullpen and should make his sixth start of the campaign Tuesday. The 2018 fourth-round pick owns a 4.85 ERA and a 29:7 K:BB across 26 innings in 2022, but he is trending in the right direction after allowing two or fewer runs in three of his last four outings.
