Playing in Arizona
Arias (wrist) has gone 1-for-6 with a walk and three strikeouts over two games since making his season debut in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Arias was sidelined by a sprained wrist for the first two months of the season. He's dealt with wrist injuries the last two seasons, putting a delay on the 18-year-old's development. The outfield prospect will likely get steady playing time in the ACL before moving up to Single-A San Jose later this summer.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Arias only played in 16 games in the Dominican Summer League before suffering a season-ending wrist injury, but he did enough damage in that small sample to be a worthwhile lottery ticket in dynasty leagues. The recipient of a $2.7 million bonus as the Giants' top international signee in January 2023, Arias is a lean 6-foot-2 center fielder with average or better tools across the board. He slashed .414/.539/.793 with four home runs and four steals while walking more (19.7 BB%) than he struck out (14.5 K%) in 76 plate appearances. Obviously a .455 BABIP inflated his line, but Arias made very advanced swing decisions while showcasing plus power potential. He could finish the year as a consensus top-100 prospect if he shows a similar command of the zone in the Arizona Complex League this summer.
