2026 Fantasy Outlook
Taylor made his big-league debut in 2025, skipping over the Triple-A level entirely to make 36 appearances (2 starts) for the White Sox after dominating Double-A. The 23-year-old right-hander was impressive, leading White Sox relievers with a 34.5 percent K-rate, 25.0 K-BB percentage and a 1.68 Game Leverage Index. He demonstrated his high-leverage prowess, racking up two wins, six saves and nine holds for Chicago without permitting a home run. Among relief pitchers with 30-plus innings last season, Taylor had the highest BABIP (.420) and one of the highest differentials between ERA (4.67) and FIP (1.40) at 3.27. The White Sox GM said Taylor will likely work as a multi-inning reliever in 2026, which keeps him in line for potential save chances and other high-leverage work. Taylor's upside is high, but his durability issues - he's previously dealt with groin (2025) and lat (2024) injuries and underwent Tommy John surgery (2023) - make him a risky bet for 20-plus saves in 2026.
