Adrianza announced via his Instagram page Tuesday that he's retiring from baseball after 12 major-league seasons.

The 30-year-old has linked up with the Nationals for the upcoming campaign and figures to fill a similar role. Adrianza's upside for fantasy remains limited due to his limitations, but his versatility and switch hitting should make him a valuable bench piece for Washington.
