2026 Fantasy Outlook
Crow was able to fully progress in his recovery from Tommy John Surgery in August of 2023 to make his organizational debut with the Brewers in May of 2025. He showed enough promise with Double-A Biloxi (2.51 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 52:8 K:BB across 43 innings) to get the call up to Triple-A Nashville in late June. However, Crow logged just two starts in Triple-A before he was stymied by a hip injury and a right flexor strain, the latter of which caused him to end the season on the IL. The flexor strain wasn't severe enough for him to undergo surgery during the offseason, but it remains to be seen whether he'll be cleared to report for the start of spring training. Crow will likely start the year in Triple-A, and his 32.0 percent strikeout rate in the minors in 2025 makes him an interesting flyer to take in deeper formats in the event that he gets promoted to the majors. Forearm strain deemed mild
Crow said Sunday that an MRI on his right forearm revealed a mild flexor strain, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Analysis
Milwaukee placed Crow on the 15-day injured list Friday, three days after he shifted to the bullpen and made a two-inning relief appearance in the Brewers' 7-5 loss to the Athletics. Crow still appears likely to miss more than the minimum amount of time, but since his injury is considered mild, he's expected to avoid a prolonged shutdown. The Brewers are likely still planning on developing the right-hander as a starter, so he could end up joining the rotation at Triple-A Nashville once he's activated from the IL.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
May join 40-man roster
Crow could be added to the Brewers' 40-man roster in order to prevent him from being selected during the Rule 5 Draft, reports Adam McCalvy of MLB.com.
Analysis
The 22-year-old spent the 2024 season recovering from Tommy John surgery after being acquired from the Mets last winter. Crow underwent the procedure in August of 2023, so he could be available early in spring training. Whether the Brewers add him to the 40-man roster could depend on the progress in his rehab program.
