Wall made his MLB debut last season and showcased himself well in brief action, going 6-for-13 with a home run and five stolen bases. The 28-year-old spent most of the campaign at Triple-A Gwinnett, where he posted a .278/.371/.425 slash line with eight homers and 52 steals in 90 contests. He once had some prospect pedigree but was unable to find much success in the upper levels of the minors until 2023. Walls has a tenuous spot on Atlanta's 40-man roster but seems unlikely to make the Opening Day roster or have a notable role in 2024, especially following the offseason addition of Jarred Kelenic.
