Leasure led Chicago relievers in multiple categories in 2025, including wins (5), saves (7), holds (14) and strikeouts (81). The 27-year-old posted an impressive 30.1% strikeout rate, but issued 30 free passes across 64.1 innings for an 11.2 percent walk rate that was well below league average (10th percentile). Leasure's 49.3 fly ball percentage was one of the highest marks among relievers while his 25.3 infield fly ball rate ranked first, but he also served up 12 homers for a poor 1.7 HR/9. The right-hander's four-seam fastball was mostly to blame, as it was responsible for eight of those home runs while producing a -6 Statcast Run Value that was the worst among relievers. If Leasure continues throwing more sliders - and the pitch remains effective as it was in 2025 - he could produce even better results in 2026. White Sox manager Will Venable's approach to the ninth inning was frustrating for fantasy managers, but Leasure is one of the team's current favorites for 2026 saves. Read Past Outlooks
