Christian Scott

Scott was sidelined for all of 2025 after undergoing hybrid Tommy John and internal brace surgery in September of 2024. He began throwing on flat ground the following March and continued throughout the summer, including throwing off a mound and facing live hitters. Scott was reportedly sitting around 94 mph, while occasionally reaching 96 mph. Because his recovery plan includes a required cooldown period, he shut things down for a few months with the intention of ramping back up in January. While he's expected to be ready for the start of spring training, the Mets can afford to be patient given their depth of young arms. Scott is likely to begin the season at Triple-A Syracuse, with a potential call-up later in the year, as reestablishing his control and command will ultimately dictate his timeline. Read Past Outlooks
