Willi Castro

Castro has turned into an elite utility player becoming the first player to play more than 25 game at five different positions in a season. Castro maintained his improved walk (8.2%) and hard-hit rates (31.4%) and duplicated his 108 wRC+ from 2023. He moved around the diamond filling in for injured players and rest days and played a career-high 158 games. He has above-average speed, but attempted fewer stolen bases (23 vs. 38 in 2023) mostly as the Twins ran less as a team. He offers some power (12 home runs) as well. He won't have a set position again, but should find regular playing time with the Twins. Read Past Outlooks
