Michael Siani News: Clears waivers
Siani cleared waivers Thursday and was sent outright to Triple-A Norfolk, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Siani was DFA'd by the Orioles on Monday after spending just two days with the big club, and he'll now return to Triple-A without having the benefit of a 40-man roster spot. The 26-year-old has struggled since joining the Orioles organization, slashing just .125/.232/.229 across 58 plate appearances at Norfolk.
