Carlos Santana News: Let go by Arizona

Santana cleared waivers Friday and was released by the Diamondbacks.

Santana was DFA'd by the D-backs immediately after being activated from the 60-day IL on Wednesday. He's free to explore other opportunities now that he's passed through waivers and entered free agency, though the 40-year-old first baseman may also consider hanging up his cleats.
