Closer Watch
Minnesota – Manager Ron Gardenhire made good on his commitment to Burton after Glen Perkins was shut down for the rest of the season. Burton saved Wednesday's game and should be the option throughout the brief remainder of the season.
Toronto – The Blue Jays might be trying to get a look at Aaron Sanchez in the closer's role. That is exactly what happened Wednesday when Sanchez earned his third save. The Jays could go with either Casey Janssen or Sanchez throughout the rest of the week.
