Tyasha Harris

28-Year-Old GuardG
 Indiana Fever  WNBA
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Harris had a strong season with Connecticut in 2024, averaging a career-best 10.5 points and 3.0 assists in 28.8 minutes per game across 39 regular-season outings (38 starts). She was traded to the Wings during the offseason but dealt with an early-season knee injury that ultimately required surgery and ended her year after just five appearances. She signed with the Fever during the offseason, and her knee procedure isn't expected to impact her availability for the start of the 2026 season. Harris wasn't much more than a streaming candidate in fantasy prior to 2024, and she could have trouble carving out a role behind Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Lexie Hull in Indiana's backcourt. She's worth a late-round flier in deeper fantasy formats, but she could have a somewhat low floor while presumably operating as a reserve. Read Past Outlooks

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2022
After operating mainly as a reserve over the first four years of her WNBA career, Harris started in 38 of 39 regular-season appearances in 2024 and put up career-best averages of 10.5 points, 3.0 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 28.8 minutes per game. She put up consistent numbers before the Olympic break but was slightly more unreliable after the Sun acquired Marina Mabrey. Following an offseason trade, Harris will return to Dallas, where she spent the first three years of her career. She'll play alongside DiJonai Carrington, who was also her teammate in Connecticut, along with superstar guard Arike Ogunbowale. The Wings are also expected to select guard Paige Bueckers with the first overall pick in this year's draft, which may not leave much fantasy-relevant work for Harris. Although she had an encouraging performance last year, Harris will likely have trouble replicating those results in 2025.
Last season was Harris’ first with Connecticut, and she played a significant role off the bench. She appeared in all 40 games and averaged 5.8 points and 1.7 assists in 16.7 minutes. She’s evolved into one of the best three-point shooters in the WNBA, drilling 46.4 percent of her 84 attempts last year. Her defensive contributions were also nice, as she averaged 1.7 steals per 40 minutes. If the 25-year-old can step into a bigger role, fantasy managers should expect some more strong three-and-D performances. Even in her limited minutes last year, Harris had six performances with multiple steals and multiple threes.
Harris has seen regular minutes in Dallas' backcourt each of her first three regular seasons, averaging 15.8 per game during the 2022 campaign. However, that's resulted in relatively mediocre fantasy outputs, ranking 110th in per-game fantasy output in category leagues in 2022 and 103rd in points leagues. She primarily contributes as a distributor, averaging 2.8 dimes per game and 7.2 per 40 (11th-best mark in WNBA). However, that's where most of Harris' fantasy intrigue begins and ends. The Sun dished Jasmine Thomas to Los Angeles this offseason, so Harris could have a path to backup point guard minutes behind Natisha Hiedeman. That said, Alyssa Thomas also thrived on the ball last season and figures to see minutes in that role, so Harris' upside likely remains relatively low entering 2023.
Harris appeared in all 32 games for the Wings last season and averaged 4.4 points, 2.7 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 16.3 minutes per game. The 5-foot-10 guard saw double-digit minutes in each of Dallas' first 18 contests, but she was unable to find a rhythm in the second half due to inconsistent playing time. Harris will likely begin the 2022 campaign behind Arike Ogunbowale, Allisha Gray, Moriah Jefferson and Marina Mabrey on the depth chart, which doesn't bode well for her fantasy potential.
